The client, based in Nantwich, Cheshire, was designing a new build property and one of his main considerations was the overall efficiency of the new build home. The plot had land and a plentiful supply of logs which made the Effecta 25kW log boiler the ideal solution.
During cold winter months a log boiler will generally require filling once a day. The idea is that you stock up the boiler with logs, carry out a full burn which will charge the buffer tank. You then have a supply of hot water for the day. Of course in spring and summer it is likely that one burn will last for a few days.
The installation was eligible for the domestic RHI which meant that the clients initial investment will be paid back in a few years and he can look forward to many years of low cost heating.
Working closely with the other trades on site we were able to provide a smooth installation that did not disrupt the building schedule.
